I never usually watch the TV during the day, but have just had a real indulgent afternoon and watched the film 'Loch Ness'. I just love that film...I've seen it umpteen times. I know its a really cheesy film, but the Scottish scenery is so wonderful...especially to someone like me who lives in a very flat and boring part of Yorkshire. I like the soundtrack too...the Rod Stewart track at the end always moves me to tears...soppy old thing that I am!! I wonder what soppy films other members enjoy?

Fleas - the film isn't sad at all, the ending just moves me to tears as I'm a big softy. I haven't seen Meet Joe Black, so I'll have to check that out. I noticed that Pretty Woman is on the goggle box tonight...my OH is away working, so I can watch that too. I miss my OH like mad...but at least I get to watch what I want when he's working. Its the only chance I get to have a bit of 'me' time!

I watched Calender Girls recently for the first time, on TV (I know, I need to get out more, it's not exactly new) and had a good sob to myself. A couple of years ago my OH was working in Norway and I hired the DVD of "My Big, Fat Greek Wedding". I watched it with the cat (female) and a bottle of rose wine and we both thoroughly enjoyed it! It is definitely one of my favourite films ever, and it has the hunky guy out of Sex and the City in it. It was on TV recently but OH wouldn't let me watch it

I was just raking through some old posts and saw this. I think the films crap but the scenery is stunning!!! Was filmed mainly in Diabaig and I stayed in one of the wee cottages near the top of the hill on my holidays once. Been there a few times, love it!!
